Madcap Puppets performing Aladdin and Friends

Harry and Max have a spectacular show to present, if only they can keep their little assistant, Tweedle, from getting into too much trouble. Aunt Susie's coat closet has become the stage for their marvelous show, but it barely contains their giant puppets and enchanting stories from around the world. The tales include: Aladdin and the Magic Lamp (Middle-Eastern folktale) and The Girl and the North Wind (Norwegian).

Arts Alive! Arts Fair

Lawrenceburg Central Elementary School, Short Street, Lawrenceburg

40+ fine arts and craft vendors, great food and family fun.  It is your opportunity for finding that something special for everyone on your holiday shopping list while supporting the Dearborn Highlands Arts Council. Vendor booths featuring art of all types – pottery, jewelry, artwear, quilts, soaps, music, painting, photography, candles, candy and more.  Free entertainment throughout the day. Artist demonstrations. 

Food will also be available for purchase.     Admission: Free-will donation

The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati performing The Night Before Christmas

“…And all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.” It’s Christmas Eve and the anticipation is building. Presents, lights, even milk and cookies…but are you ever too old for family traditions? Based on the enchanting poem by Clement Clark Moore, this lyrical adaptation celebrates the joy of family and the magic of holiday stories, reminding everyone what Christmas is all about.

Mardi Gras with Ricky Nye

RICKY NYE was bitten by the music bug at the age of five. His musical journeys on piano, organ & accordion have taken him through jazz, funk, rock & roll (years 1979-1985 with legendary cult faves The Raisins), country, zydeco, New Orleans styles, boogie woogie & blues (three years with the late Big Ed Thompson)- knowledge which has landed him on countless recording sessions and as accompanist to renown blues artists such as James Harman, Junior Watson, Jason Ricci, Francine Reed and Darrell Nulisch.

Buffalo Ridge Jazz Band

Depot Room, Lawrenceburg Public Library, Mary Street, Lawrenceburg

The Buffalo Ridge Jazz Band is a group of well-seasoned musicians whose specialty is Classic Traditional Jazz. The musical effect is at once entertaining, humorous and infectious. Founded in 1994 by veteran banjo artist and showman, Bob Adams, the band continues to gain an increasing number of fans on domestic and international stages.

The Tri-State region of the Greater Cincinnati Area is home base for this popular group. The band's performances for jazz clubs, on cruises, at park concerts and jazz festivals always draw rave reviews, and its recordings have received critical acclaim. The Buffalo Ridge Jazz Band is sure to provide listeners of all ages with a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Bacchanal Steel Drums

Depot Room, Lawrenceburg Public Library, Mary Street, Lawrenceburg

The Bacchanal Steel Band is Cincinnati's premiere Caribbean ensemble, featuring instruments made from 55-gallon oil barrels.  Since 1998, the band has been entertaining and educating around the tri-state and beyond with it's combination of calypso, soca, reggae, pop, and classical music.
